Cumbria County Council is pleased to announce that Story Contracting has been appointed to complete the design and build of the Torpenhow junction on the A595 near Bothel.
As a result of community feedback, Cumbria County Council can confirm that the speed limit on the A595 at Bothel has now been reduced to 50mph.
Local residents, businesses and users of the A595 are being reminded to have their say on the latest proposals to improve the A595 within the vicinity of Bothel, before the consultation ends on Monday 24 May.
