Furness Peninsular Blue Light Hub opens in Ulverston
South Cumbria’s first Blue Light Hub officially opens today (Monday 8 March), creating a new operational base for the county council’s Fire and Rescue Service, Cumbria Police and North West Ambulance Service.
A team of 20 staff will be running the 66-mile Bob Graham Round, traversing 42 peaks and ascending 26,900ft in total around the Lake District over a 24-hour period on 7-8 August.
