Cumbria County Council reminds residents and visitors about essential road maintenance work on the A591 in Ambleside and Windermere.
Cumbria County Council will be carrying out essential highway maintenance work on two main roads in Kendal, starting in mid-April.
Cumbria County Council’s highways department is investing almost £390,000 into a series of footpath and highway improvements in the Upperby area of Carlisle, with works commencing on the first phase of the project from Monday 26 October.
Work on the road safety improvements to the A684 in the south of the county will begin next week
Highway improvement works on Park Road, Milnthorpe, are scheduled to get under way on Monday 15 June.
In Carlisle there are a number of projects ongoing concurrently managed by different providers, including United Utilities, the city council and the county council.
