The multi-agency group formed to respond to Storm Arwen has now concluded as all occupied homes in Cumbria have had power restored.
Multi-agency teams and volunteers continue to work together in response to this major incident which was declared in Cumbria on Friday 26 November.
Multi-agency teams and volunteers are continuing door knocking on homes across areas still affected by power outages today. Teams will be checking on residents’ safety and welfare, providing advice and support if required.
The respite centre in Ulverston’s Coronation Hall will remain open overnight for anyone unable to remain in their own home due to continued power outages in the area caused by Storm Arwen.
