Firefighters help spread Christmas joy by hosting a lunch for the elderly
Crews from Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service (FRS) will open their fire station doors and host a Christmas lunch for two of Cumbria County Council's Care Homes.
Residents of Cumbria Care’s Richmond Park in Workington will visit Workington Community Fire Station on Wednesday 7 December from 12.30pm.
Residents of Cumbria Care’s Burnrigg Court in Carlisle will visit Carlisle East Community Fire Station on Thursday 8 December from 12.30pm.
Firefighters will be spending time with the residents and hosting and cooking a festive spread.
