Whether you’re leaving school and looking to start a new career or already in employment and looking to gain a degree equivalent qualification - we have something to suit everyone. “An apprenticeship with CCC could open a door to a career you might not have thought of, and we'll support you to get there. Come along to our free online events to find out more.” Elizabeth Templeton, Higher Apprentice Cumbria County Council, said: “Choosing to do an apprenticeship with Cumbria County Council was a great choice for me. I started in 2018 and I’m now a Level 4 qualified accountant soon to be starting a degree in Finance. I’ve learnt real-life work skills and gained an accredited qualification whilst earning a living. The support I’ve received from my work colleagues, managers and the Apprenticeship Team has really helped me on my journey. “I’ve also had the opportunity to take on challenges outside of my role, like speaking at leadership conferences and organising fundraising events. My apprenticeship with Cumbria County Council has provided me with some amazing opportunities and I’d encourage anyone out there starting a new career to give it a go!” For more information visit cumbria.gov.uk/apprentice or follow Cumbria County Council on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. |
