As part of National Tree Week, the Cumbria Coastal Community Forest has today been allocated £200,000 in funding from the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA).
Yesterday (27 November), 28 trees were planted at a park in Carleton, Penrith as part of National Tree Week which runs until Sunday 4 December.
